Published a large number of papers on this work. On request of the concerned committees, prepared

A major study on building codes (for protection against earthquakes, winds and cyclones, fires, and terrorism) was completed for Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority and numerous documents were developed by a large team of experts from all over the country. The scope of work included review of relevant codes, suggestions for modifications therein, development of several new codes, development of commentaries and handbooks, and dissemination
of the same to interested professionals through a variety of means. Numerous reports developed under this project are placed at the NICEE web site (http://www.nicee.org/IITK-GSDMA_Codes.php), and are being very popular
